Caela M. Camazine

St. Louis, Missouri Attorney

Location:  Clayton, Missouri
Fax:  314-727-2101

Caela Camazine is a member of the firm’s family law department and appellate practice group. Her areas of focus include divorce, child custody, modification matters, and orders of protection.

Caela earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Public Health from Saint Louis University, and she brings that interdisciplinary training to every case she handles. Her background in public health allows her to approach family law matters with a unique perspective, recognizing that issues like custody disputes, parental alienation, and resist/refuse dynamics, and high-conflict co-parenting affect not only legal rights but also the long-term well-being of families. She frequently works on cases involving mental health and substance use concerns, helping clients navigate the intersection of treatment needs, parenting, and the court process with compassion and clarity.

Before entering private practice, Caela worked in policy and advocacy, including efforts to expand Medicaid in Missouri and assisting survivors of domestic violence seeking asylum. While in law school, Caela served as Editor-in-Chief of Saint Louis University’s Journal of Health Law and Policy. These experiences deepened her understanding of how law, health, and policy intersect and continue to inform her client-centered approach.

In her practice, Caela combines strategic legal analysis with an appreciation for and understanding of the human complexities behind family law disputes, helping clients navigate divorce, custody, and post-judgment issues with a focus on stability, healing, and the best interests of children.
