Aaron Rankin practices in civil litigation and business law. He practices primarily in general civil litigation, encompassing several areas of law, such as breach of contract claims, business disputes, real estate disputes, mechanic’s liens, employment disputes, probate and trust disputes, consumer litigation, landlord-tenant matters, and personal injury claims. Mr. Rankin has extensive experience at the trial court level, but has also worked on appellate briefs submitted to the Missouri Court of Appeals and Missouri Supreme Court. He also practices in alternative dispute resolution by representing clients in both mediation and arbitration.
In addition to Mr. Rankin’s litigation practice, he practices in general business and corporate law by negotiating transactions and drafting agreements, including real estate contracts, lease agreements, purchase agreements, licensing agreements, and employment agreements. Mr. Rankin also assists clients in entity formation, drafting operating agreements for LLCs and shareholder agreements for corporations, and advising clients on the structures of their businesses.
With diverse experiences in several different areas of the law, Mr. Rankin is well-equipped to serve the needs of his clients by approaching their case from many different perspectives. The experience gained in his civil litigation and business law practice allows him to address his client’s legal issues both in and out of the courtroom.
Mr. Rankin is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the St. Louis County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Political Science and History and received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law with a Concentration in Health Law Studies, focusing primarily on transactional and regulatory matters.
