Best Lawyers, the oldest lawyer-rating publication in the U.S., has selected seven Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal lawyers for inclusion in the 2018 edition. Selection is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which leading attorneys cast confidential votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their areas of expertise.
Two Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal lawyers have been named as St. Louis “Lawyer of the Year,” each in one of his areas of concentration.
- Thomas M. Blumenthal has been named “Lawyer of the Year” in the area of Mediation. This is Tom’s second honor in this category, having been named “Lawyer of the Year” in Mediation for 2016. He was also named “Lawyer of the Year” in Arbitration for both 2012 and 2017.
- Alan E. Freed has been named “Lawyer of the Year” in the area of Collaborative Law: Family Law. This is Alan’s second honor in this category, having been named Collaborative Law “Lawyer of the Year” in 2013. Alan has previously been named “Lawyer of the Year” in two other categories: Mediation, for 2017, and Family Law Mediation, for 2015.
- With this year’s honor, Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal mediators have held the St. Louis “Lawyer of the Year” title for three consecutive years.
