New Form I-9 Now in Effect

As of May 7th, employers in the U.S. are required to use a new version of Form I-9 to verify the work authorization of all employees. Using the prior version of the Form I-9 after May 7th is a technical violation of the employment verification laws. However, this violation as well as many other violations may be corrected by the employer if done in a timely manner.
