Block to Present at Statewide Bar Conference

Susan E. Block, attorney, Paule Camazine & Blumenthal, has been selected as a presenter at the 17th Annual Missouri Bar Family Law Conference to be held in August 2017 in Branson, Missouri. Block will present with St. Louis County Circuit judge Michael Burton and attorney Venus Harry, of the Venus Harry Law Firm. The topic for their session is “What Every Family Law Lawyer Should Know About Domestic Violence.”

Block has presented on domestic violence at the Missouri Judicial College and the National Judicial College as well as internationally in Latvia, Macedonia, Brazil, and Lithuania. She represents men and women seeking orders of protection as a means of obtaining safety from physical or emotional abuse.

Formerly Administrative Judge of the Family Court of St. Louis County, Block oversaw the policies concerning domestic violence and chaired the St. Louis County Domestic Violence Council. She was also the lead project head of a federal grant that sought to provide better understanding of how domestic violence intersected with child protection.
