Block Named Honorary Chair for An Evening with Robbie Kaplan

Susan E. Block, lawyer at Paule Camazine & Blumenthal, has been named as the honorary chair for An Evening with Robbie Kaplan. This event is sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women, St. Louis, as part of its mission to advance social justice for all women, children, and families. Attorney Kaplan fought and won Supreme Court case, U.S. v. Windsor, overturned the Defense of Marriage Act, and paved the way for marriage equality. Block’s law practice includes representation of same-sex couples in adoption, divorce, and estate planning. She has a long history of social justice activism in the areas of domestic violence and juvenile justice. She is a past recipient of the Hannah G. Solomon Award, NCJW’s highest award.
