Paule Camazine & Blumenthal attorney Alisse Camazine will be honored by Missouri Lawyers Weekly at its 2nd annual ICON Awards luncheon on May 31, 2019 at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis. Alisse, who has focused her practice in the family law area for 40 years, is a frequent lecturer on child custody, mental health issues, and complex property issues. Her volunteer service, having for many years been focused on the legal community, has expanded to include other areas. She recently joined the board of Gateway to Hope, which provides medical care and financial assistance to indigent women with breast cancer. She is chairing the group’s 2019 gala.
Alisse, along with her longtime law partner Alan Freed, wrote the book Divorce in Missouri, a plain language guide for people going through divorce.
The 2019 ICON Awards will be presented to 25 distinguished men and women attorneys age 60 and older in recognition of their their notable sustained success and strong leadership within and outside of the law. The list of prior recipients includes judges, founding partners, mediators, a former U.S. Senator, and legal scholars. All hold or have held a senior position with significant decision-making authority for their firm or organization. These attorneys from around the state have had notable and sustained success and leadership both within and beyond the field of law.
