On January 26, 2014, Paule, Camazine & Blumenthal family law attorney Bruce E. Friedman spoke at Bais Abraham Congregation in University City, Missouri, about the use of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements to provide for binding arbitration of a religious divorce and related provisions. The program included a keynote speaker discussing the religious issues leading to the use of such agreements. Following the program, a number of married couples entered into postnuptial agreements to demonstrate their support for this process as a means of promoting marital harmony and of eliminating hurdles to religious divorce, which creates substantial burdens on Orthodox Jewish women.
